Shipping methods
All products are shipped with tracking.
The main shipping partner is DHL, but depending on the destination and shipping day packages may be shipped with either PostNL, DHL or DPD. You can see which one is used for your country below.
Shipping destinations
I ship to the entire EU and to all non-EU countries in Europe. Non-EU countries include, UK, Switzerland, Ukraine etc. I have also shipped to f.i. the US and Australia.
If you are unsure whether I ship to your country or you see a standard rate of 24,95 just send me an email.
VAT
For destinations within the EU the VAT rate of the shipping address is used. So if you order from Germany, you pay 19% VAT. The VAT is included in the order total. This means the rates below differ a few cents per country.
For all destinations outside of the EU, the Dutch VAT rate of 21% is used. VAT is included in the order total so you pay this at checkout. This is not refunded for private customers.
For B2B sales outside of the Netherlands, but inside the EU, no VAT is charged as long as you enter a valid VAT number (intra community supply). This will be verified at checkout!
DHL Packstation (Service Point) delivery
I can deliver to a Packstation or any other DHL Service Point in Germany. Keep in mind however that all packages fit through a standard mail slot so a Packstation may be not necessary.
Please use the DHL Packstation delivery option during checkout.
Add the Postnummer in the remarks, otherwise I’ll have to ask you again.
Use the same delivery address as the billing address. And then select the correct Packstation via the button ‘Select Service Point’.
Do not manually enter the Packstation address in the delivery address but use the Select Service Point button to select it.
If done correctly, the address will be shown below the button.
Shipping costs and time per destination
If your destination is not listed here, you can check the rate by adding a product to the shopping cart and then use the shipping cost calculator after you selected the destination country (you don’t need to type in a full address to get the rate).
Orders are usually shipped within 2 business days after purchase (Occasionally 3 or 4 with DPD). The transit time in delivery days per destination country is mentioned below. The transit time is an indication provided by DHL/DPD/PostNL.
Packages sent with PostNL are sent as registered mail. It includes tracking, but it is not that accurate at times.

Packaging
For ecological reasons, all BBQKees products are designed such that they fit through a standard mail slot. Gateways are designed in a pretty flat enclosure, and for instance the optional power supplies have a flat form factor as well.
Each product is packaged in a small, plain white cardboard letterbox package that fits through the mail slot. So you don’t need to be at home and we can reduce packaging waste. And it’s plain white because why would we print and use ink on something that we throw away anyway?
If you buy more products in one order, you will usually receive a single shipment of a larger letterbox package. If you order more than 4 or 5 products you’ll receive a taped stack of letterbox packages.
We also use brown paper tape instead of plastic packaging tape, it doesn’t look that good but I hope to reduce plastic waste a little bit this way.
If your package is still wrapped with plastic tape, it’s already of the recycled plastic type.
