This page explains how to recycle our products and the packaging.
As each country in the EU has it’s own recycling programs, this page has a section per country. This page will be expanded over time as there are so many different recycling programs.
In general put the cardboard packaging in the paper recycling, all plastic bags can go in the plastic recycling.
If you need to discard of the products themselves they may not be thrown in the waste bin but it’s best to hand it over to your local recycling facilities. None of our products contain batteries so that’s one less of a concern.
the Netherlands
The packaging is from corrugated cardboard. This can be discarded with the ‘oud papier’ .
The EMS Gateway, the cables and the power supply are packaged inside a plastic bag. This plastic bag is either PE-LD or HDPD. This can be discarded with the PMD.
The EMS Gateways and the power supplies contain electronic circuits and materials. After it’s useful life you should offer them for recycling at your local ‘milieupark’.
