EMS Gateway base board

Beschreibung

This is the base board of the Gateway Premium II, but without the voltage regulator and the circuitry for bus power.

If you use this board and f.i. a MH-ET ESP32 D1 Mini, you can easily build your own Gateway ready for EMS-ESP V3.
Just load the firmware and plug the ESP on the board, no Dupont wires needed. For some instructions see HERE.

You have to power the D1 Mini with a USB adapter, you cannot use this board to power the ESP from the bus.
If you can use the service jack you can solder on a voltage regulator yourself and then no USB power is necessary.

This board has the same functionality as the EMS interface board,
but it has a footprint for the D1 Mini and it also has the JST connector for adding external Dallas sensors.

These are fully functional surplus spare boards from the discontinued Gateway Premium II. Brand new and unused.

This board is NOT a substitute for the EMS Gateway!
This product is for those who like to play around with programming and microcontrollers.
It’s ONLY the hardware interface you need to interface with the EMS bus from a standard UART.
It does not come with any microcontroller or software.
You cannot power the microcontroller from the bus, only from the jack (if connected).
