************************************************* Overview of all web interface settings EMS-ESP V2 ************************************************* The Gateway models Premium, Premium II, Standard and Regular are based on the EMS-ESP V2 firmware. .. note:: The EMS-ESP firmware V2 project has now been archived. It is recommended to upgrade to an ESP32 chip to make use of the much improved EMS-ESP32 V3 firmware. See :ref:`this page ` for more information. There's a whole range of other settings you can make from within the web interface. Most speak for themselves. Below an overview of all pages. With each new firmware version features are added and sometimes removed. The pages below are based on V2 firmware. If you have a Gateway S32 or E32 look :ref:`HERE ` for the V3 firmware. Dashboard ========= The dashboard page provides a more detailed overview of the status of the Gateway. Devices and Sensors ------------------- The Devices and Sensors tab gives you an overview of all devices found on the EMS bus. If you are missing a device, press the 'Scan Devices' button. If you connected DS18B20 sensors these are listed as well. .. image:: ../images/firmware/dashboard-devices-and-sensors.jpg :width: 800 :alt: Web interface Devices and Sensors tab EMS Status ---------- The EMS Status tab gives you information if the bus is connected correctly. .. image:: ../images/firmware/dashboard-ems-status.jpg :width: 800 :alt: Web interface EMS Status tab EMS-ESP Help ------------ This page provides links to the help function. .. image:: ../images/firmware/dashboard-ems-esp-help.jpg :width: 800 :alt: Web interface EMS-ESP Help tab Settings ======== On the EMS-ESP settings page you can change the Tx mode and change the Bus ID of the Gateway. Also you can turn on the Shower Timer and Shower Alert features which give a notification of shower duration in Home Assistant and a cold burst of water after a few minutes. .. image:: ../images/firmware/settings.png :width: 800 :alt: Web interface EMS-ESP settings .. Note:: **Setting TX delay for Buderus Web KM200/KM100/KM50/boilers with ethernet:** If you have a Bosch/Buderus Web gateway module like the KM200, KM100, KM50 or your boiler has one built in, you need to go to Settings and then set 'TX delayed start' to 60 seconds. WiFi Connection =============== WiFi Status ----------- The WiFi Status tab gives you all the network status and parameters. .. image:: ../images/firmware/wifi-connection-status.jpg :width: 800 :alt: Web interface WiFi status tab Scan Networks ------------- Scan networks provides the option to scan and select a specific Wi-Fi network. .. image:: ../images/firmware/wifi-connection-scan-networks.JPG :width: 800 :alt: Web interface WiFi Scan networks tab WiFi Settings ------------- The WiFi Settings tab gives you the network teh Gateway is currently connected to. You can also set the Wi-Fi password, network Hostname and set a static IP address. .. image:: ../images/firmware/wifi-connection-wifi-settings.JPG :width: 800 :alt: Web interface WiFi Settings tab Access Point ============ Access Point Status ------------------- The Access Point Status tab gives you the status of the internal access point of the Gateway. .. image:: ../images/firmware/access-point-status.jpg :width: 800 :alt: Web interface Access point Status tab Access Point Settings --------------------- You can set the AP Wi-Fi name and password and other network settings. .. image:: ../images/firmware/access-point-access-point-settings.jpg :width: 800 :alt: Web interface Access point Settings tab Network Time ============ NTP Status ---------- The NTP Status tab gives you information about the network time status. .. image:: ../images/firmware/network-time-ntp-status.JPG :width: 800 :alt: Web interface NTP Status tab NTP Settings ------------ .. image:: ../images/firmware/network-time-ntp-settings.JPG :width: 800 :alt: Web interface NTP Status tab MQTT ==== MQTT Status ----------- The MQTT Status tab gives you information about the MQTT connection to the broker. .. image:: ../images/firmware/mqtt-mqtt-status.JPG :width: 800 :alt: Web interface MQTT Status tab MQTT Settings ------------- Here you can set a lot of MQTT related parameters. .. image:: ../images/firmware/mqtt-mqtt-settings.png :width: 800 :alt: Web interface MQTT Settings tab Security ======== Manage users ------------ Add or remove users of EMS-ESP. .. image:: ../images/firmware/security-manage-users.JPG :width: 800 :alt: Web interface manage users tab Security Settings ----------------- .. image:: ../images/firmware/security-security-settings.JPG :width: 800 :alt: Web interface security settings tab System ====== System Status ------------- See the status of a lot of ESP parameters. With this function you can upload new firmware via WiFi directly from Platform IO to the ESP module. .. image:: ../images/firmware/system-ota-settings.JPG :width: 800 :alt: Web interface OTA settings tab Update firmware --------------- On this page you can update the firmware of the Gateway. First you can download the latest stable version and then upload the bin file or another bin file to the Gateway. .. warning:: The Gateways models Premium (II), Standard and Regular are based on the ESP8266. Always chose the ESP8266 bin file!. If you upload the ESP32 bin file you will brick the Gateway and you need to use Platform I/O or the ESP loader to install the correct firmware again. If your Gateway works fine and there are no significant new features, its not recommended to update the firmware just for the sake of updating. Some firmware versions are not stable and can give stability issues. .. image:: ../images/firmware/system-upload-firmware.JPG :width: 800 :alt: Web interface firmware update menu
